Suspect Wanted in Flagler Beach Shooting Found Dead from Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
On October 16 at approximately 9:20 p.m., the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team arrived at a home on Lake Charles Lane in Palm Coast to serve an arrest warrant for Aggravated Battery and a search warrant for the residence. The subject, Yairton Garcia, 54, was also the suspect in the October 5 shooting on Northshore Boulevard in Flagler Beach
FCSO Adds New Advanced Forensic Imaging System to its CSI Fingerprint Detection Capability
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office now uses the most advanced forensic imaging system to combat crime in Flagler County. The new Arrowhead Forensics Full Spectrum Imaging System II allows crime scene investigators to detect fingerprints on objects and humans in the FCSO Crime Laboratory or at the scene of the crime.
