Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies made 10 arrests this past weekend between 6 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, and 6 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026. Deputies handled 836 calls for service and made 177 traffic stops.
Woman Arrested for Multiple DUI Crashes with Property Damage
On Saturday, deputies arrested Perla Chacon, 23, of Palm Coast after she crashed multiple times while driving drunk.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a reckless driver. Before deputies arrived, a citizen contacted the Flagler County Emergency Communications Center to report the driver, later identified as Chacon, nearly hit them head-on. The caller followed the vehicle and continued to document Chacon’s erratic behavior, reporting the vehicle went off the roadway multiple times, crashing into a culvert, fence, and mailbox.
A deputy located the vehicle attempting to turn around in a driveway on Elder Street in Bunnell and observed significant front-end damage. As the deputy approached the vehicle, Chacon reversed out of the driveway backing into a ditch. The deputy then removed Chacon from the vehicle.
Chacon told deputies she was travelling from a bowling alley in Palm Coast to her friend’s house. When deputies asked Chacon how her vehicle was damaged, she stated “it has been like that.” While speaking to Chacon about the crash, deputies noticed she had glassy and watery eyes, slurred speech, and the strong odor of alcohol on her breath. Deputies also noted her shirt was wet and appeared to be stained with vomit.
Deputies then began a DUI investigation and conducted a series of field sobriety exercises, which Chacon failed.

“This woman clearly should not have been driving and was almost three-times the legal limit in Florida, said Sheriff Rick Staly. “She’s lucky the only things she hit was a fence and a mailbox and that nobody was hurt. If you’re drinking it is dangerous and irresponsible to drive. Have a designated driver, call for a ride home. If you get behind the wheel of a car impaired, you will see some new bars at the Green Roof Inn.”
Deputies arrested Chacon for DUI, three counts of DUI with property damage, and three counts of leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage. She was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where she provided breath tests. The first test indicated she had a blood alcohol content of 0.172 and the second indicated a BAC of 0.167.
Chacon was booked into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where she was later released on a $4,450 bond.

Man Arrested for Driving While License Suspended and Tries to Give Deputy False Name
On Sunday, deputies arrested Mardochee Malvoisin Jr., 36, of Palm Coast, for driving while license suspended after determining he had given a false name.
At approximately 3:45 a.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of White Mill Drive and White View Parkway in Palm Coast after observing a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign. During the traffic stop, the driver told the deputy he left his driver’s license at home and said his name was Nahum Malvoisin and provided a date of birth. However, when checking to ensure the man had a valid license, the deputy noticed the photograph in the system did not resemble the driver.
Through investigative means, the deputy identified the driver as Mardochee Malvoisin, who had a suspended license and a history of driving while his license was suspended or revoked and had three prior convictions for driving on a suspended license.
“This guy knows he shouldn’t be driving, but he keeps driving anyway,” said Sheriff Staly. “He even tried to lie to the deputy using someone else’s name who had a valid license. Using a false name and lying to a deputy only gets you more charges.”

During the arrest, Malvoisin was found to possess a glass pipe with burnt narcotics residue in his pocket.
Deputies arrested Malvoisin for driving while license suspended (third or subsequent violation), providing a false name to law enforcement, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where he was later released on a $4,500 bond.
In addition to his prior arrests for driving while license suspended, Malvoisin had previously been arrested on multiple out-of-county warrants, domestic battery, and violation of probation.
