BUNNELL, Fla. — Registered sexual predator Gabriel Pardo, 45, who was arrested on June 19 for a violating his probation less than 12 hours after his release from state prison, has been sentenced to an additional 10 years in the Florida Department of Corrections followed by 15 years of sex offender probation.

Pardo’s recent arrest came after he walked more than six miles overnight to the Palm Coast house where he had previously victimized multiple children and failed to report to probation the morning after his release from prison.

“This is swift justice at its finest,” Sheriff Rick Staly. “This case demonstrates what can be accomplished through coordinated efforts, effective communication, and a rapid response. Every person involved played an important role in ensuring this dirtbag was held accountable and swiftly returned to prison after violating the conditions of his prison release and probation.”
