Brandon Raymond, 20, of Palm Coast, who was arrested in November 2025 after an investigation by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office revealed he was in a sexual relationship with a minor, has been convicted and sentenced.

On June 3, Raymond pleaded guilty to two counts of lewd or lascivious battery. Following Raymond’s plea agreement, Circuit Judge Dawn Nichols sentenced him to four years in state prison. He will also be required to register as a sex offender and will be on sex offender probation for 11 years after his release from prison.

“I commend our team and thank the prosecution for making sure this offender faced justice and got the prison time he deserved for taking advantage of a young teenager that he wanted to date,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “He took the innocence away and now he gets to sit in prison and think about what he did. Parents, this is a good reminder to monitor your child’s social media activity and the apps they are using, as you never know what pervert is on the other side of the keyboard.”

Raymond is currently being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility awaiting transfer to Florida Department of Corrections custody.
