‘See Something, Say Something’ Helps Catch Palm Coast Man Wanted for Domestic Violence
On Saturday afternoon, deputies arrested Carl Gray, 48, of Palm Coast, on multiple charges after he fled from the scene as deputies were investigating a domestic disturbance.
At approximately 5 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Wheeler Place in Palm Coast. As deputies were conducting their investigation and speaking to the victim, who had suffered numerous scratches, Gray fled through the back door.
While deputies were searching the area, a nearby resident on Wheeldon Lane called the Flagler County Emergency Communications Center to report a man who matched Gray’s description running through their yard. Deputies quickly responded and located Gray running down the road. After a brief foot chase, deputies apprehended Gray in the front yard of a residence.
“This guy thought that he could commit domestic violence and run away from his problems, but thanks to a citizen who ‘saw something and said something,’ he couldn’t get more than a couple streets away,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Instead, he ended up out of breath, in handcuffs, and off to the Green Roof Inn.”

Palm Coast Woman Who Spit on Deputy’s Face, Hair Arrested for Battery on Law Enforcement
Saturday evening, deputies arrested Autumn Bellows, 18, of Palm Coast, after she spit on a deputy while they were trying to secure her.
At approximately 7 p.m., deputies responded to a report concerning a woman who was intoxicated and in distress. Following an investigation deputies determined Bellows met the criteria to be placed into involuntary protective custody.
During transportation to a mental health facility, Bellows became belligerent in the back seat of the patrol vehicle, kicking and banging her head against the partition. Bellows also informed the deputy transporting her that she had escaped the handcuffs she was placed in.
As deputies attempted to resecure Bellows, she was uncooperative and spit on a deputy, with the spit landing on his face and hair. During the exchange, Bellows stated to deputies that she was trying to go to jail and was wanting to be criminally charged. Deputies then secured Bellows in handcuffs, a spit mask, and restraints.
“If you batter a deputy sheriff, including spitting on them, which is disgusting and disrespectful, I can guarantee you a trip to the Green Roof Inn,” said Sheriff Staly. “She wanted to go to jail, and she got her wish and earned herself a felony arrest.”

Palm Coast Man Arrested After Stabbing Juvenile – DHS Places Immigration Hold on Him
Sunday evening, deputies arrested Devroy Miller, 27, of Palm Coast, after he stabbed a juvenile during a domestic violence incident.
Just before 6 p.m., deputies responded to a stabbing at a residence in the R-Section of Palm Coast. Upon arriving at the residence, deputies located the juvenile victim with a deep stab wound on his thigh and numerous cuts on his chest. Due to his injuries, the victim was transported to AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway for medical treatment.
During their investigation, deputies determined the weapon used in the stabbing was a pair of scissors and determined the stabbing occurred during a domestic altercation.
After patrol deputies’ initial investigation, Major Case Unit detectives responded to further investigate and interview all the parties involved. While speaking to detectives, Miller initially attempted to minimize the altercation, but eventually admitted the stabbing occurred. Miller told detectives he did not know what happened to the scissors after the stabbing.
Later, detectives served a search warrant at the residence and located seven pairs of scissors. Miller, however, was unable to identify which pair was used in the stabbing.
“No matter what an argument is about, stabbing someone, especially a child, is absolutely never an acceptable response,” said Sheriff Staly. “It’s time for this guy to grow up!”

Detectives arrested Miller for aggravated child abuse. He was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where he is being held without bond.
Miller, a Jamaican national, was also determined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to be removable from the country. DHS placed an immigration detainer on him, and he is set to be deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement following his criminal case.
The investigation is still active and ongoing.
