Public Affairs Office
The Flagler County Sheriff's Office Public Affairs Office is committed to informing the community of events or incidents and maintaining a relationship of trust, cooperation, and respect with the public and the news media.
The Public Affairs team is responsible for the timely and accurate distribution of information between the Sheriff’s Office and the news media. On a daily basis, the team interacts with television, radio, print media, and other news forums to ensure that the most up-to-date and reliable information is released to the public. We are also active on social media including Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube.
After hours and on weekends, a Public Affairs team member is always on-call for emergencies and significant breaking news events.
Written records, including arrest affidavits and reports, are generally not available on the weekend or holidays, or after-hours and are not distributed by the Inmate Detention Facility.
