Marine Unit

 

The Marine Unit is responsible for approximately 85 miles of water which includes canals, Intracoastal waterway salt marshes, Lake Diston, parts of Crescent Lake, and 18.1 miles of ocean shoreline. Aside from routine patrol duties for manatee zone and safety violations, the Marine Unit is also tasked with responding to boaters and vessels in distress and interdiction duties and dive team.
